Bendor has written a short piece for the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art on how a photo archive changed his life. Indeed, instead of shedding tears of frustration into the stacks and boxes often held within London basements, we can now do so from the comfort of our own armchairs at home. Is this progress? I think so.
