The Guardian have reported on the recent opening of an exhibition in Alba de Tormes in Western Spain. The show entitled The Splendour of Painting in Valencia contains 120 works by artists including Juan de Juanes, Fernando Llanos and Fernando Yáñez de la Almedina. Moreover, the display is also intended to divert more attention to this part of Spain, and away from the cultural capitals of Madrid and Barcelona.
